Young Driver is the UK’s only nationwide provider of driving lessons for children aged 11 to 17, a programme which ŠKODA is delighted to be part of. Research shows that giving our young people as much driving experience as possible before they are road legal, cuts road accidents involving this group by 40%. Young Driver has 30 specially designed training facilities across the country. Complete with road signs, traffic lights, roundabouts and junctions – they are built to simulate a ‘real road’ experience. 100,000 lessons have been delivered to date by the country’s best driving instructors, who have all been trained specifically to teach under 17s.
